The Power Of The Word

I have been so excited and full of faith! I have already been given a chance to hear/read some of your testimonies. It has been so encouraging and I appreciate all the prayers that have been sent up concerning this project. Keep the submissions coming!!!!

Admonition for today: Always be aware of what you speak. We are created in the image of God and the same way God created with words, when you speak you create in the spiritual realm.

Today I was reading a small booklet called, "God's Creative Power" by Charles Capps. I want to quickly share an excerpt of the book with you...

If Jesus came to you personally and said, from this day forward it will come to pass that everything you say will happen EXACTLY as you say it; would that change you vocabulary? I believe it would.

Spoken words program your heart either to success or defeat. Words are containers. They carry faith, or fear, and they produce after their kind.

That is just a short excerpt, but hopefully it will get you to think about the words that you speak. If we speak the Word in faith, then God is faithful to perform it. However, if we speak idle words, we are sure to eat the fruit of our own lips as well. You literally have two choices, speak faith (The Word) or speak idle words (fear/death).

I suggest you print out in large font on a piece of paper "I will eat the fruit of my own lips, so this day I commit to only speak the Word. I realize that my words are used to create, so I will only speak what will produce fruit." Place this somewhere that you frequent often and be sure to say it every morning. It will help to make you more conscious of what you speak.

Additionally I want to challenge you to get complaining out of your vocabulary. NO MATTER what you are facing DO NOT complain. I first learned this principle through another ministry that encouraged people to go at least 40 days without complaining and document it.

Suggested Scriptures: Book of James
